Baby Einstein Bendy Ball

A mom in my group had a similar one of these for her baby who just loved it. So when we were walking through the baby aisles at Target, we saw this one and just put it in the stroller with our baby to see if he would like it--and he played with it the entire time! So, of course, we bought it!

He has many other rattle-type toys meant for grabbing, but this is the first one he has actually grabbed on to and played with. It is very sturdy and actually a little heavier than I anticipated by just looking at it--I was worried it might be too heavy for him to pick up (since we had never really seen him pick up anything before) but he manages with no problems!

Bright Starts Clack and Slide Activity Ball

 

1. Love this toy. My 6 month old daughter will play with this while she is laying down, sitting up, or in her chair. It is easy for her to grab & swing around, the colors are very vibrant to attract her interest, & there is plenty to do & enough different sounds that happen (when is playing with it) to make her want to keep checking it out. Very impressed. :) 

2. My son LOVES to slide things and spin them so I thought he would LOVE this ball. I purchased it to put in his Easter basket when he was 12 months old. I honestly think that I missed the optimal window for this. He plays with it occasionally but doesn't love it like I thought he would.
My recommendation is to purchase this for a younger baby...they will LOVE it! It does have a lot to do and is very durable.

1. This is a great toy! From as soon as my son could control his arms, if this was nearby, he was fiddling with it somehow. When he was a little stronger, we would hand it to him during diaper changes and he was completely distracted. As he became more coordinated, he played with the different aspects of the toy. He's 13 months now and hasn't started using it as a step-stool yet, but he probably will soon! It's plenty strong enough for that too. There's so much to look at on this toy, even if all the baby can do is not hold it still, there are tiny colored beads rolling every which way. There's always something moving on this toy. It was one of the best, longest play toys we received.

2. I bought this toy for the only reason that my baby is engaged in playing by himself. And this to did solve my purpose.
